Lakeland School, Warri, was founded in the year 2000 as a Private Nursery/ Primary School. Our children are happy, confident, independent and creative. They always love to be in school.
The School is governed by a dedicated Governing Council, managed by hands on Management team, with competent teaching and committed non - teaching staff. The school is supported by an active PTA. Our School anthem and School pledge attest to our mission.
At Lakeland, we aim to: create a happy, conducive and stimulating environment for learning, have high expectation of all pupils, involving pupils in setting targets for personal achievement and to develop responsibility and self-discipline in all pupils.
Yellow/Blue/Red/Green monogrammed polo shirts with shorts or trousers for boys and skorts or skirts for girls. Parents provide white socks and black shoes (without laces) as footwear. Sports outfit and school uniforms are available in our store. Pupils from Nursery class and upwards must appear in uniform, unless school activities/birthdays permit otherwise.
The first point of contact is the Head Teacher or Secretary. They receive prospective parents; answer enquiries and give general information about the school. A prospective parent purchases an application form for N5,000 for the Nursery or Primary section. Thereafter, the parent completes application form and submits it with all requested documentation to the Secretary.
The Secretary informs the parent of the assessment date. Assessment takes place in June. Secretary informs prospective parents of the date the list of successful candidates will be released and when successful candidates can come pick up their admission letter.
